Thank you, it’s been a great year!
This year has been a very good year at the Studio. Some of the highlights were; 
- receiving the Small Business of the Year Award, being commended in the City of Yarra Sustainability Awards and a finalist in the Melbourne Awards
- our first Spring Fashion Gala with 350 guests which raised $15,000
- collaborating with 40 Interior and Industrial design students from RMIT and to launch our Pedal Powered pop-up shops at the State of Design festival
- Collaborating with Hunter Gatherer for our second street party
- we now have over 50 students and staff in retail, hospitality and clothing production and design with 16 of our students having already graduated from certificate II
- we took part in the Sustainable Living Festival, Fair at Square, Emerge and Viva,RISE Festivals and even a Fair Trade Fashion Parade in Queensland and Oxfam’s Exchange for Change in Sydney
- we have clothes in Hunter Gatherer and The Red Cross Vintage Store
- had fun at the first Fitzroy Outdoor Cinema
- published 5 editions of the *bespoken newspaper
- we avoided jail through our partnership with the Neighbourhood Justice Centre
- we ran workshops wih SAIL, Somalian Womens Group and the Liberian Group
- we’ve made aprons for Monsieur Truffe, Panama Dining Room, Rice Queen, Social Roasting Company, costumes for the ARAB Arts Group and robes for the African Choir as well as 460 purses for Dominion Private Clients
- ran a series of talks with local designers called The Quick Unpick
- we have been at the Shirt and Skirt, CERES and Fitzroy Market
- we’ve been on the radio, in the paper, on TV and all over the media
- developed partnerships with Victoria Womens Trust, RMIT School of Fashion and AMES
- we have setup up weekly services for financial counselling, driving and migration advice
- that’s not to mention the thousands of beautiful garments we have made from 100% reclaimed materials
